We have helped 8,872 young people, with the support of 159 businesses
Who we are
Launched by Gary and Kate Peters and supported by our Ambassador Harry Redknapp, who was the keynote speaker at our launch in October 2018, our vision is to considerably raise the life and career aspirations of all of our next generations across Sussex.
The Foundation leverages the positivity, influence and incredible inspiration of local businesses and influencers to engage and inspire young people to become the best possible version of themselves they can be.
Our fundraising activities support various innovative and exciting projects such as our inspirational, local celebrity led programme, Dare to Dream. The programmes give young people the tools, confidence and belief to realise their full potential.
A foundation is defined as an institution established with an endowment. We are proud that LoveLocalJobs.com Limited are providing this endowment as their support.
Our aim
To considerably raise the life and career aspirations of our local next generation.
We believe that everybody, whatever their barriers, can achieve great things. Supported by amazing businesses, we will ensure that every young local person we interact with has the experiences, tools, confidence and inspiration they need to realise their full potential.
What we do
We bring together businesses, community organisations and schools to raise the aspirations of the next generation locally and inspire them to fulfil their potential. We do this through the delivery of our inspirational in school workshops and conferences with Dare to Dream.
We create and collaborate on innovative and inspirational programmes which align our mission and values, working within our local community to create phenomenal futures.
The LoveLocalJobs Foundation C.I.C receives no government funding and relies solely on sponsors and donors to help make these projects a reality. The investment of local philanthropy, resources and invaluable experience has helped set over 2,000 local young people onto stronger and more positive pathways.

Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.

Helping everyone
Each programme is designed to create a future for our local communities by encouraging and preparing the next generation workforce.

We specifically work with young people to raise aspirations.
We are dependent on the support and goodwill of businesses to run our programmes.
We deliver our programmes in partnership with schools.
We also help community organisations, youth clubs, independent speakers & parents.
Where we've come from
CEO Gary Peters launched BrightonandHoveJobs.com in September 2010 after he saw a gap in the local job market. There was nowhere for local businesses to advertise their local job opportunities and there was no single place for local people to search for local jobs.
Having grown BrightonandHoveJobs.com to include Sussex LoveLocalJobs.com, Gary saw another gap: to leverage the goodwill of local businesses and influencers to positively impact young people and support them to fulfil their untapped potential.
